1) Can any member of a group create folders?

The admin/owner of a group should determine which users can create folders and documents in that specific group.

If you want to create a folder in a group and you realize you are not authorized please tag the group´s owner in a comment in the group´s forum requesting authorization.

2) Can we “@“ someone and have an exchange? For example, if I upload a file can I @ a colleague and can he/she comment it and @ me back?

Yes

3) Will we receive a notification through the platform when someone tags “@” us?

Yes

4) Will we receive a notification in our emails every time someone tags “@” us?

Yes

5) Where can we “@” someone?

  • In the “Social wall”  
  • In a group´s “Forum”  
  • When commenting a Document

6) Is there any requirement to tag someone?

To tag someone the two users must be friends

7) Will we receive a notification if someone uploads a document or creates a folder in one of the groups from which we are part of?

No. Notifications will only arrive if someone tags  “@” you.

8) Where will I receive notifications that someone has tagged “@” me?

Once you have been tagged, you will receive the notification in the platform and in your email account.

9) Can we change the name of a group?

Yes, you can if you are a member and/or group admin.

10) How can I assign a “group moderator· role to a user from the dashboard?

This can only be done by the PN platform admin and the editors (Ana Cabria, Alyson Lions, Magalí Cibrián Tapia, and Mais), through the WordPress back-end

11) Can we assign a tag to the documents attached in the group´s social wall?

It is not possible to add tags in this case

12) Where are the documents attached in the group´s social wall located?

Those documents will only remain in the comment and it will be hard to track it later. 

We recommend you upload important documents in the group “Resources”, where you will be able to locate them easily.

13) How many GB do we have available for uploads?

Answer pending from Wingu.

14 ) If I search for a member in the general site search, will I be able (as a normal user) to see which groups is this member involved in?

– Go to Members> Members directory

– Select the corresponding member

– Click on “Groups”, in the horizontal menu below the profile header

15) Can anyone create groups?

Only the admin and editors can create groups. If you want to create a group you need to ask for the admin or editor to create it or to give you permission.

16) Who receives memberships´ requests?

Editors and admins receive membership requests. 

Important Note Regarding Notifications of Membership Requests: All editors receive the request as a notification through the platform, but only the admin receives it also by mail. 

17) Who can I contact for support if something in the platform isn’t working correctly?
